Fayette Stakes from Keeneland and a Whole Host of Belmont Races, October 30 2021

Curlin Stakes 2014

We are a week away from the Breeder’s Cup, so make your moves and get in position to go for the win. We’ve got a few Graded Stakes from Keeneland and Santa Anita, and fill in the rest with races at Belmont. Good luck everyone.

Race 1: Hudson Handicap

  • Ny Traffic – Dropping way down in class and distance, I think you would have to consider this a major embarrassment to lose to this field, high percentage jockey and trainer, high speed figs, winner at Belmont, hasn’t raced distance, working well.
  • Our Last Buck – High recent speed figs, experience at distance with no wins, winner at Belmont, working out well, high percentage trainer.
  • Judge N Jury – Moving up in class, winner of 3/4 with high speed figs, did poorly in Jerkens, high percentage jockey / trainer, rail post.
  • Just Missed – Foolish Ghost – Consistently high speed figs, winner at distance and track, working out well, low percentage jockey.

Race 2: Iroquois Stakes

  • Miss Jimmy – Speed figs in the 90’s going back to 2020, winner at distance, winner at Belmont, winner last 2 races, rail post, working out well.
  • The Important One – Winner of last 2, high speed figs, high percentage jockey/trainer, winner at Belmont.
  • Espresso Shot – Increasing speed figs, high percentage jockey, working bullets, trending in the right direction.

Race 3: Maid of the Mist Stakes

  • Sandy’s Garden – High speed fig in winning start, working out well, increase in distance.
  • Velvet Sister – Increasing in distance each start, good speed figs, finished second last 2 starts, high percentage jockey/trainer.
  • Venti Valentine – Winner at Belmont in first start, high percentage jockey, rail post, good speed, working out well.

Race 4: Empire Classic Handicap

  • Americanrevolution – Highest speed figs, winner at distance, winner at Belmont, dropping in class, high percentage jockey/trainer, working out well.
  • Sea Foam – Winner of 4/9 at distance, dropping distance after poor 1.5m start, winner at Belmont, working bullets, high percentage jockey.
  • Tiergan – Winner at distance, winner last 3, high percentage jockey/trainer, winner at Belmont, good speed figs.

Race 5: Fayette Stakes (G2)

  • Code of Honor – High percentage jockey/trainer, high speed figs, graded stakes winner.
  • King Fury – Rebound after Travers, good speed figs, working out well.
  • Independence Hall – Lots of stakes experience, experience at distance, second last race, second to Knicks Go last race, high speed figs.
  • Just Missed – Sleepy Eyes Todd – High speed figs, winner at track and distance, could wire the field with a good start.

Race 6: Autumn Miss Stakes (G3)

  • Spanish Loveaffair – Winner of 3/5 at distance, high percentage trainer, high speed figs, graded stakes experience, winner last race.
  • Madone – Winner of 5/6 at distance and 2/3 at Santa Anita, high percentage jockey, dropping in distance, last start was poor.
  • Burgoo Alley – Finished in the money last 4 starts, good speed figs, winner at distance and track, consisten jockey, working out well.
